Naturopathy

What is a Naturopath and how can we help you?

Naturopaths provide support and advice about overall health and wellbeing that is focused on both relief of symptoms and also long-term health and disease prevention.

Naturopathy aims to uncover the root causes of disease, and give you the right tools and techniques so that long term you are empowered and healthier in mind, body and spirit.

Taking a holistic approach, naturopathy aims to assist in overall health and wellbeing. At Blue Wren, we have particular interests in naturopathy to support fertility, mental health and digestive health, and other chronic health concerns whilst also providing support for common acute conditions like cough, cold, hayfever, and respiratory infections.

What does a naturopathic consultation involve?

Naturopaths take the time to get to know you holistically and the root causes of disease. These causes are discovered in the initial consultation through detailed questioning, testing (if needed), dietary and lifestyle analysis. We determine what your goals are and how best to support you, and by putting together the pieces of the puzzle we are better able to understand where you are in your health journey.

After the initial consultation, we combine the understanding we have gleaned from you about your particular circumstances with in-depth research and evaluation. We develop a health plan specifically tailored to you and your needs with both short-term and long-term goals in mind.

During the follow up consultation we provide a comprehensive health plan with dietary recommendations, menus if needed, nutritional supplementation and lifestyle support. At Blue Wren, we believe the focus should firstly be on food as medicine with nutritional supplementation as needed. We know that sometimes it can be overwhelming, so with that in mind our plans are tailored to suit your lifestyle, budget, and timeframes to build towards achieving the end results you need.
